Join Lilla Vekerdy, Head & Curator of Special Collections at the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives, to view and hear about the “Singing Bindings” of The Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology. These unique bindings feature fragments of medieval music manuscripts as covers of Renaissance books. Working with them, has revealed many fascinating discoveries regarding both book-binding and music.
