Jason Chin, Caldecott Winner 2022, in Conversation with Will McCullam

Jason Chin is an author and illustrator of children’s books dealing with nature and science. His books have won both the Sibert (the Informational Book) and Orbis (writing for Nonfiction for Children) Medals. His most recent book, Watercress (2021) won the Caldecott and Newbery Awards. It is the story of a Chinese American family driving through Ohio, with Andrea Wang as the author and Jason Chin the illustrator. Ultimately, It is the story about remembering your past. For this forum, Jason will be joining Will McCullam, NOBS member and children’s book dealer, virtually, from New Hampshire to talk about children’s books and illustrating.
