Jessica Starr (Jarndyce Antiquarian Booksellers) and Ben Maggs (Maggs Bros. Ltd.)  will provide a glimpse behind the curtain of the rare book trade in London, discussing how they became book dealers, their experiences of working in the trade, and what a typical day is like for them. Ben will describe the long and distinguished history of Maggs, and both will comment on the contemporary book world in London. Jessica and Ben will also delve into getting serious about book collecting and how building relationships with dealers can improve the collecting experience.
