The Great Libraries of Rome: October 22 – 30, 2023
The Manuscript Society in conjunction with International Seminars Design Inc. presents a tour like no other! Tour the most beautiful libraries of Rome and see their rare manuscript collections.
On this specifically designed tour, individuals will visit many outstanding libraries and museums located in Rome. Some will be open only to us. Gardens, fountains, architectural plazas, are all part of this glorious trip. A few of the places we will visit:
Rome: The Sistine Hall of
the Vatican Museum
Angelica and Casanatense Libraries; The Vatican – Sistine Chapel, Vatican Gardens, St. Peters Basilica, Vatican Library and Vatican mosaic studio; Spanish Royal Academy and American Academy of Rome; Palazzo Massimo and the Palazzo Orsini; Villa Farnesina – opened especially for The Manuscript Society; and the Hertziana Library and Vallicelliana Library plus excellent food, wine, and company.
